8ºA students of Escola Básica e Secundária de Arrifana proudly received their Certificates. It was a pleasure being part of this project "Stop the Change Save the Planet"

We came to end and gave certificates to our students and project partners. You can see the template of the certificate. It was a great journey for all of us.

A day to think about the importance of our Oceans and the need of preserving them  as a Natural Resource

Gazi Secondary School students are sharing their opinions We created a padlet and answer garden as dissemination tools for our school to raise awareness on climate change.  Students shared their ideas and realized the importance of the topic.         Gazi Secondary School 5th June- The World Environment Day If schools had  not been closed due to covid-19, we would have organized an exhibition including the pictures of our students & our project and the materials which were made up of disposal materials such as plastic bottles, papers, canes etc.  Today, our project team had an online meeting via zoom. We all wore green to show our commitment to the world and the environment. We talked about the possible solution to protect our environment and we also created a name badge to be attached on our clothes on the first day of the school.

We were normally carrying out the project together in the school when the schools were open but the schools were closed in the middle of March due to coronavirus, so the students have kept studying on the project at their homes since then.

     ALWAYS KEEP IN TOUCH Schools are closed due to coronavirus but we all keep on working on our project as a project team.  We, the teachers of the project, all have online sessions with our students to carry out the activities in the project. The 5th June is coming and Arrifana students, from Portugal want to celebrate the date: World Environment Day. Students from the different grades were challenged to give their "tips" to SAVE the PLANET 🐬🐘🌳🌏. They are participating during the whole week. This is just the beginning.

No one will be indifferent when seeing our project students wearing it, the first day at school, next school year.  Um logo na nossa língua mãe. Ninguém ficará indiferente quando vir os nossos alunos do projeto a usarem este badge, no primeiro dia de aulas, do próximo ano letivo.

Emine Ahmet Büküşoğlu students prepared a logo for the project.The aim for this activity to have a logo for all partners in mother tongues because at the first day of school,each member of this project will attach those name badges-logos-to their uniform and raise an awareness.From now on,we are all environmentalist!!

When seeing this video Arrifana students, Portugal discussed how to change bad habits, in order to save our Planet

STOP the change SAVE the planet   Another e-twinning project on Climate Change. As a 21st century  teachers’ we couldn’t remain silent. Our students shouldn’t remain silent,too.
